This week was National Schools’ Football Week which has been coordinated by the English Schools Football Association. Marking a celebration of schools’ football, this new initiative reflects the spirit of competition, fair play and team work. Schools around the country are staging football themed events and lessons throughout the week, utilising the popularity of football to inspire pupils both on and
off the pitch. This national campaign is also introducing a ‘Respect in Football’ element, whilst
helping boost the participation of boys and girls football. In this week’s PE lessons students are being given the opportunity to play small sided football games in Houses with every goal scored counting for 2 House Points. The overall scores are included below.
